Is an antimatter bomb technically impossible? Probably! But so are zombies, so muhhhh.

I got two fanarts, woah!:D

First, from Trav:

Bwahaha! Basically what Trav did here was combine Benny boy, Jeff, and Felix, into the ultimate being. Just look at him! He's ready to kick some ass, and pet some kitties- Love it! :D

(Trav needs to do the comics)

Then, from MST2KFan:

MST2KFan went on another EPIC roll and did a metric fuck ton of fanarts for folks for the holidays- And I was one of them again! This year, it's Anne. And she looks so sweet and beautiful and happy and ahhh~~~ ;^;

(MST2KFan of course does the awesome [url=http://powrightinthenostalgia.webcomic.ws/]Pow! Right in the Nostalgia]~)

Oh, Benny Boy, what the hell have you gotten yourself into?

This has something to do with him talking on that radio, I'm sure of it.

Right, technicalities aside though, Benny has got the weight of the world on his shoulders, once again. Poor kid. Do I sense a Terminator, "I'll only answer you, John Conner" vibe happening? XD

Oh, man. I hope he don't have to defuse it.

Yeah, I wouldn't count too much on Benny boy having bomb defusing skills, haha.

Strange that the robo-girl will only answer to Benjy...and even points out how if HE wants to use it in two days basically, it's his call.

So much pressure on the guy. Shame Eva didn't stick around for this. She would have had fun I think.

(And you're welcome on the gift art, SeaBee.)

Gosh, Eva being here could have been a game changer, I bet!~

(Eee thank you again I adore her~~~)

Oh dear. Don't know what an antimatter bomb does, but I'm pretty sure it's not good.

It means that Walkers were CERN backed terrorists. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
lmao

In short, all that contained antimatter would annihilate any matter in contact and produce MUCH more energy for the explosion than you can think of.
The difference here is that the bomb would release all energy of the mass in the system with no loss (I think) so even a tiny speck of antimatter weapon would already suffice.
I am not going to write THAT equation like an idiot because everyone knows it, really, and middleschoolers already have it on their shirts!
Anyway... quarter of a gram would probably produce around 20 trillion Joules of energy which seems to be almost the strength of the explosion in Hiroshima? A stupid tiny speck!
Another thing is that there is little to no radioactivity post explosion. I am not sure if there is ANY. One inconvenience of nuclear bombs (there are still people who call them "atomic/atom" bombs, please do not do that) is all that radioactive mess left once the deed is done (like kids, cough cough).
In reality, we barely can produce any antimatter or store it for that matter (hee hee).
Since here we are probably talking about a real deal sized bomb... antimatter bomb... I guess they are all going to be promptly...

SCREWED

If you want to simulate such a bomb, however, I recommend eating expired mayo with sheep cheese at about 10-11 PM....

[any back-up/errata are welcome, honestly (with the exception of the very last part)]

@Jak this explanation works :D
I guess when the worlds ending, ya got nothing left to lose. Mwehehe.

Good lord that food combo makes me feel ick just imagining it, haha!

"...store it for that matter (hee hee)."
Lmao

@Stever Probably one of the worst bombs to not actually exist... I think...:D

im pretty sure making an antimatter bomb wouldnt be ultra impossible

in fact im pretty sure the hard part would be keeping the thing from blowing up before you want it to

yknow... because it detonates when it touches matter, and most of the stuff we have around just happens to be matter

Oh, maybe, maybe not. I don't have much faith in the future, so maybe it'll be a thing, haha. But, yeah, it'd be damn tricky for sure.

Pretty much. How such a bomb would look like... Dunno. But containing antimatter is the problem, yes.
Producing it as well. Let's say we do not consider the absurd costs in the first place (the cost of a whatever billionth of a gram is stupidly high), we can still only produce unsatisfactory number of antiparticles to make it worth it.
Kinda makes you wonder how limited science is. There has to be a hard limit. Whether it is the inner workings of the univrse itself or out total inability to understand anything that might be hidden right under out noses.

*bomb not exploding, apocalypse stopped, world saved.

Uhm.. well.. I fear, it will not be quite that easy right? ;D
